STAMFORD, Conn. — Sikorsky Innovations will be the first corporate sponsor and partner of the Stamford Innovation Center, it was announced Thursday.

Sikorsky Innovations will use the center for entrepreneurial ventures that develop technology compatible with Sikorsky Aircraft Initiatives.

“Sikorsky Innovations is committed to identifying and maturing cutting-edge technologies applicable to current and future products of Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. We firmly believe that the mission of the Stamford Innovation Center aligns closely with our goals and look forward to working with its team,” Sikorsky Innovations Vice President Chris Van Buiten said in a statement.

The Stamford Innovation Center is located in Old Town Hall and serves as a hub for entrepreneurship and innovation.
