Junior Adlee Fayyaz registered a major decision and pin Monday, helping the New York University wrestling team to win over Johns Hopkins, 24-15, and the host, University of Scranton, 41-6.

Fayyaz, a Rye Country Day School graduate and Stamford (Conn.) resident, decisioned Mike Koren of Johns Hopkins, 10-1, in the 133-pound weight class. He followed this up with a pin of Scranton’s Kevin Williams, at 3:49, also in the 133-pound bout. This was Fayyaz’s first pin of the season.

NYU improved to 12-9 on the season.
