Florence Adamczyk of Stamford, formerly of Cos Cob, died Feb. 21. She was 80 years old.
Adamczyk was born in Greenwich and graduated from Greenwich High School. She worked for Cleworth Publishing in Greenwich for more than 35 years. In retirement, Adamczyk spent her time tending to her family and friends.
She is survived by her sisters, Victoria Jermantowicz and Josephine Nadziejko, and a niece and a nephew. A funeral service was held on Friday, Feb. 25, at the Bosak Funeral Home in Stamford. Interment was at St. John's Cemetery in Darien.
