Stamford Police are continuing to follow up on leads in the investigation of the death of Leonel Antonio Rios-Hernandez, Stamford Police Captain Richard Conklin said. He said the leads were more specific than they were earlier this week.

Rios-Hernandez’ body was found Monday by his sister in his room at his Daly Street residence. The 30-year-old man was bloodied and battered, and it appeared that he had sustained blunt-force trauma injuries to his head and body. Police are committing time and resources to determine what happened to Rios-Hernandez, Conklin said.

Anyone with information about the death of Rios-Hernandez is asked to call the Stamford Police Detectives Bureau at 7.
