Top-seeded Staples defeated Ridgefield, 15-9, as the top four seeds advanced in the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference girls lacrosse tournament on Friday.
In other games, No. 2 New Canaan took out Greenwich, 13-2; No. 4 Darien nipped No. 5 Ludlowe, 11-9, and No. 3 Wilton toppled Danbury, 15-3.
The semifinals are set for Monday at New Canaan’s Dunning Field. New Canaan meets Wilton at 5:15, followed by Staples vs. Darien at 7.
