Remember to turn your clocks forward one hour at bedtime Saturday because Daylight Saving Time goes into effect at 2 a.m. Sunday. You may lose an hour of sleep, but you can look forward to gaining an extra hour of sunlight and the coming of spring.

Until 2007, clocks were set forward in April. But the second Sunday in March became the date for setting to Daylight Saving Time. Only Hawaii and Arizona decline to take part in the ritual of changing clocks every spring and fall.
