Jennifer Zaza, 33, of 33 Soundview Ave., Stamford, was arrested Wednesday on charges of assault and risk of injury to a child.

Other arrests made Wednesday by the Stamford Police Department:

• Jorge Llamas-Alvarado, 19, of 140 Lockwood Ave., Stamford, was arrested on charges of violation of a motor vehicle license class, improper rear/marker lamps and illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence.

• Mario Quinteros, 18, of 110 Courtland Circle, Stamford, was arrested on a charge of violation of probation.

• Joseph Simmons, 28, of 83-6 Ludlow St., Stamford, was arrested on charges of operation of motor vehicle without a license, operation of a motor vehicle causing unnecessary noise and illegal use of tinted glass.

• Jesus Jiminez, 18, of 291 Greenwich Ave., Stamford, was arrested on charges of improper use of marker, license and/or registration, failure to insure a private motor vehicle, illegal operation of a motor vehicle with a license class violation and failure to register a motor vehicle.
